On this rainy Saturday (well, its raining here in Tauranga anyway!) I thought Id post some goodness for you all to enjoy. My cousin, Rob Ruha, has released his first single Pōnga rā which is currently sitting at #1 on iTunes for World music. I had the pleasure of singing this waiata with him in Hawaii alongside our beautiful friend Maisey Rika and this song is the jam! Rob is a visionary, a prolific composer in te reo Māori and english, a haka exponent, a historian, an amazing singer and musician, an advocate for justice and a beautiful soul who is branching out into music with the pending release of his debut EP, Tiki Tapu which is due out this year.
