On this second Sunday of the year, Pastor Carlo shares on Birthing the Supernatural. As we give birth to our destinies, we also give birth to the supernatural. The Main text was on John 5:1-8. The paralytic man was by the side of the pool, staying in that same position for 38 long years, in hopes of being healed whenever an angel stirs up the Pool of Bethesda. Lined up with the blind, lame, and disabled, his situation, among with the many others, was utterly hopeless and depressing. Jesus asked if he wanted to get well, but he did not answer with a resounding yes or no. He had a reason - that no one had helped him, and that he actually tried but his efforts were all in vain. He had a supernatural dream of being healed, but he had a natural strategy. He had a spirit-borne idea but the strategy was of the flesh. Pastor Carlo further builds up by listing the ingredients to birthing the supernatural. You know you are up to birthing the supernatural when (1) the odds are against you, (2) when there is a sense of urgency and desperation and when you (3) finally choose to act in faith.
