Once a week, I leave the office for a long lunch break to drive to the suburbs and work with emotionally disturbed teenagers. Its never easy, but its always worth it. I appreciate the flexibility in my schedule that Doug has provided so that I can give my time every week. When I saw the Coin Week Volunteer Challenge I knew I had to share my story, though 300 words doesnt seem like enough space! (Due to HIPAA and the ages of the boys I work with, I couldnt share any photos of me on the campus or with my kiddos.)
