Once again - I am about to fail at acting my age. In a couple of days I am leaving to attend something called the Coachella Arts and Music Festival in Indio California. Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a lifelong LOVE of music - all kinds - and this is a 3 day festival with over 80 musical acts performing. I expect the average age of attendees to be something like 20 - I am just a bit beyond that. I have been walking every day and working out HARD for four months in anticipation of the event. With acts from Bryan Ferry to Pharrell, the lineup is off the hook and it took me close to a year of careful planning (and adhering to a convenient payment plan the producers of the event make available for those of us living on limited means) - I will FINALLY be there - I have wanted to go for over a decade! I can not adequately explain WHY this means so much to me - on so many levels - but it DOES !!!! Special kudos to my friends, Rich and Keith for all they have done in helping to get me there !!
