Once again I write with a heavy heart. On Friday, November 7th at 8:36pm our beloved kitty Randall left us for the next world. He was born on the Lower East Side of Manhattan... and like all of us that reside and resided there he was a true character. Every person who ever came in contact with him fell in love... it was a true talent that only he possessed. And although he was beloved by our human community of friends... well... his litter mates would argue with you guys on this matter. For he was quite the bully with them in our home. Randall, because of his uniqueness had many nick names... he was named after the character Randall in Clerks. His dear friend Laughing-Fox Thomas christened him Randall The Beserker because of this. And every time she came over she would sing Here comes Randall... hes a beserker to him. He loved that. For a while he was also known as Randall Diabetico because he had feline diabetes for a while... but like all good beserkers he beat it and went into remission. Randall was also know by his favorite Auntie Cynthia Pack as Randall Cakes. He was also loved by Lois Amaral Wooten... my freind at work. And while he was boarding there during hurricane Sandy he hung out with her at the front desk assisting her with the front desk duties and cuddling in a bed she made for him.. But for me and Bruce... he was just Randall... a cat who loved walkies (he enjoyed being squired around the house in your arms whilst looking at everything on the walls) jumping into our arms and surrounding our necks with his paws... and yes... terrorizing his house mates. He was a cat of many facets and dimensions... a truly sensitive beast. When my brother Joey passed away and I was beside myself he refused to leave my side as I took to my bed. His big white paws constantly touching my face to comfort me. I will miss him... my Randall... my big grey and white friend. You my darling boy were a true Luther cat... and you will always be remembered. xo
