Once again a cyclists life amounted to zero in the eyes of the law, this time in WA: Cyclist’s death dangerous driving charge dropped BTWA NEWS, BY ROBERT – POSTED 5 HOURS AGO POSTED IN: GENERAL NEWS A charge of dangerous driving causing death against a young woman over the death of a cyclist has been dropped, the Subiaco Post newspaper reported on August 2. Clara Louise Joyce was 19 on May 12 last year when she hit a 63-year-old cyclist and father of five at a roundabout on Broome Street, Cottesloe. The cyclist died in hospital 10 days later. The Director of Public Prosecutions said there was no reasonable prospect of convicting Ms Joyce whose trial was due to begin this week.
