Once again, one of our awesome foster volunteers has stepped up and allowed us to step in and prevent this orphans caretakers from having to euthanize him when his foster evicted him. BIGGIE (name change coming - auctioning his name to raise funds for his medical) was found severely malnourished running stray, and tests showed some highly elevated renal values. He is responding to a diet change and antibiotics, although 2 of the 3 values remain elevated, one significantly - and hes not putting on weight, and having loose stool. EPI is a possibility, but we will be doing diagnostics and giving him the best care we can. Thanks a ton Trish and family for giving up your foster break when told he was in big trouble, and to Melissa for again stepping up and offering to sponsor him.
