Once again, piggybacking with Elizabeth J Short:Lula Brown update: Hi all! All is very good! Mom did just fine today during the surgery and she was somewhat coherent this evening before I left at 9:00 p.m. The surgeons told us that the next 24 hrs., were critical. After that she should be fine. I reminded her once again how many love her and are pulling for her and she gets great comfort in knowing that. The next 3-5 days she will be at the hospital but is not allowed any phone calls or visitors between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. After that she will go to Renascence Rehabilitation for a short time. Those of you I neglected to call please forgive me. It is a long list,:)oh and last note she wiggled her toes and fingers for me before I left! That is a good thing! Have a great night and I will update tomorrow morning. love to all! Heading back to that darn hospital in a few minutes and we will give everybody an update shortly.
