Once in a while I type Joanie Maronie into the search bar to get a rough idea of how many other weird creeps are out there who think its totally chill to give themselves a nursery rhyme name (that also pays homage to a great ol rock n roll tune but nobody cares). Well, when I first picked the name there was already one middle-aged Australian lady with her two pugs as her profile picture. We lost her (where did she go?). But its all good cus we are now three women strong and even more importantly *drumroll*.....we now have our own bar/lounge ---> Joanie Maronis in Hicksville, NY. What?!! AND I didnt even have to open it, cus they opened last year and I didnt even know cus thats how long its taken me to nosily check out others with my made up name again, What?!! I should go make a Facebook invite now informing the other two gals of mandatory pilgrimage to our newly established mecca conveniently located at a 39 minute drive from me.
