Once, it seemed to me, I encountered an Angel. The Angel was a living door. But I had to be brought within, and, later, I would have to be brought without again. These were dangers. While inside, I learned and experienced impossible things. About this world and nature. Once without again, I was ... at once, enlightened and confused by the differences... here. This morning I met a fly. We had an elaborate exchange I will not here detail by which various messages and possibilities were communicated. There were no words involved. But something like nonverbal concepts might have been. Primarily, the gestures were all physical, and silent. After we met, and agreed, it was decided that the fly wished to enter my abode. As we now knew each other, we related during this process. I opened a door. He scanned me once more, and entered. I susptected the nature of his errand. He entered and I followed him in. We scanned each other, and he orbited the garbage can. I opened it. I demonstrated physically the way it was a trap. He entered and was fulfilled. I closed the trap and left. But in order to be fulfilled, I had to get him back outside, and this is not a simple task and one in which a delicate creature may be injured or destroyed. I netted him. And was able to transport him safely back into the context where we encountered each other. I wonder what he learned within my home. But this I know... and this is telling... his first and final fascination, more than me, my home, or our relationship... ... was in the trap the garbage can was, and became. In fact, it was »the stink of that trap that attracted him in the first place. Because that stink, to him, was on »me. Did he fancy it »divine? And so I recall my encounter with the Angel. And how it is recontexted here, now, in my own life, with a direct encounter with a seemingly smaller and more limited intelligence. Whose urges and perspectivity are far more functional than fictional, and thus... whose »actions tell the truth.
