Once someone bought my book at an event and had it autographed to his name. He then return and said that he rather have a copy without autograph. Not wanting to make a scene I gave him a new copy. Now what am I going to do with the book that has been personalised ? He didnt realised that he had made me lost a book now that I cant give it to someone else. Then, I have people booking my coaching session. I do not take advance payment as I am more of a I-give-you-the-results-and-you-can-then-pay-me. But occasionally I have last minute cancellations. I earn by the booking made and for each slot booked I do not solicit for any other client. To cancel last minute is a loss of income for me as it is quite impossible to find a last minute replacement. Things that made me feel it doesnt pay to be nice at times. Sabar.
