Once the rain stopped I joined the mass migration toward Brixton and caught the end of Mark Kavumas set at the Prince of Wales, Artie Zaitz gtr Alexander Davis bass and Shane Forbes had the place rocking then a bunch of us including Piano maestro Johnathon Baptiste went to A pub in Kings X where they had a piano and we dropped an impromptu gig on their asses, some of the punters where saying it was the best night theyd had in that pub ever and they had been going there for at least 20 years.. It was such a pleasure to listen and play with Mr Baptiste And it was a good warm up before church, another great night commenced came home on the first tube had a mushroom omelette at the local greasy coz I was proper Hank Marvin Tonight Im looking forward to returning to the Thomas A Beckett with the Dudley Brown Quartet in fact tonight Mr Brown will be launching his new CD No2 come and join us music starts 8.30pm dun 11pm dont forget your instrument
