Once upon a time, there was a Palestine, wars were won and lands were lost, generations of people went homeless and displaced, the children died in suffer, families slaughtered to disappear, lives were destroyed, holy shrines were insulted, and gone, but amazingly, the king survived, and lived, the shining crown was never lost and misplaced, instead, were put on the next kings head to carry on, while occupations lived on, the people of Palestine wandered the land, carried tents, bags, and flags, and looked, seeking a nation to replace Palestine, in hope they may belong. At the end, the story was sold in a form of a book, and yes, its title, “Once upon a time, there was a Palestine.
