Once upon a time, there was a king who ruled a prosperous country. One day, he went for a trip to some distant areas of his country. When he returned to his palace, he complained that his feet were very painful, because it was the first time that he went for such a long trip, & the road that he went through was very rough & stony. He then ordered his people to cover every road of the entire country with leather. Definitely, this would need thousands of cows skin, & would cost a huge amount of money. Then one of his wise servant dared himself to tell the king, Why do u have to spend that unnecessary amount of money? Why dont u just cut a little piece of leather to cover ur feet ? The king was surprised, but he later agreed to his suggestion, to make a shoe for himself. Moral of the story: To make this world a happier place for ũ to live in ,requires u to change urself - ur heart, ur mindset & ur attitude- Not the entire world. Change ALWAYS begins with ũ- not ur spouse,ur parent,ur in-laws ,ur neighbour or that sumone givng u a hard time. Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. Unless we change ourselves first then we can change those near to us & expand further, Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. Consider how hard it is to change urself & u’ll understand what little chance u have in trying to change others. “Truly, اللّه does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” (Quran 13:11). @>--. @>--. @>--. @>--. @>--. @>--. @>--
