Once upon a time there was a very kind lady in Bartow, Fl and her name was Mary Ann Burns Harrell. She asked a friend Wayne lewis who talks an awful lot, if he could help locate some musical instruments to donate to her very special niece who taught music in an inner city school in New York. Wayne made a request on Facebook for donations from his friends list. And a very kind and generous friend, Tom Kendrick replied with the donation of a very very nice electric guitar and amp. Wayne then asked his good friend Kent Kesler who is also a band director, if he could help turn the guitar donation into some band instruments, and he did exactly that. So now, about a dozen kids will have an instrument to play, and they all lived happily ever after :) The End ....... Actually, this is a fun way to describe what a wonderful blessing that God sent to the school kids in New York. Because of the kindness of one man, many kids will be blessed. Thank you Tom Kendrick for reminding me there are still good folks out there who give, and expect nothing in return. May everyone be blessed in a mighty way, and especially the kids in New York under the guidance of a special teacher with a vision ......... And just a note, these are not junk instruments that were destined for the scrap yard. A close up of one clarinet will confirm the quality of these instruments ........
