One Breath Away His Gentle Hand From the eternal, Were one breath away. Therere no guarantees, Well be here today. So why take such chances, With your precious soul. Come unto His Presence, fore death takes its toll. Its really quite simple, Your debts, who will pay? Our Lord will forgive you, This very same day. Sins debt is enormous, More than you can give. Christs already paid it, So that you can live. If you make the choice, To be your own Lord. Youll then pay a price, You cannot afford. Its your decision. Cant be on the fence. When it comes to Christ Jesus, Youre for or against. The cost of rejection, is too high a price. Your choice is eternal, You ought to think twice. Our Loving Lord wants, To make you His own. For you He will build, An eternal home. I guess that you could say that I, was a cold and angry man. My life was filled with broken dreams, Troubles followed where I ran. And when I ceased to care at all, There was no more tears to cry. It did not matter much to me, If I lived or if I died. But there was One who cared for me, And He wanted me to know. He sent Someone to set me free, A couple thousand years ago. It did not matter what Id done. And I came to understand. Id find my answers through His Son, Guided by His Gentle Hand. I did not have that much to lose, Already hit rock bottom ground. And though that day I was so lost, That same day I would be found. So I walked into a Church, The joyful singing just began. It was the day I met the Lord, Guided by His Gentle Hand. It was so many years ago, Since I found the Lord that day. His Loving Grace gave me new life, Walking with me all the way. Why He chose me, I dont know. I may never understand, But Im glad He called to me, Guided by His Gentle Hand.
