One Drummer or The Other. In this life we hear the beats of two drummers, But can only dance to one or the other. One pounds heavy of never ending destruction,The other harmonizes peace and loving instruction. One moans out a sound of sorrow and wickedness,While the other sings joyously of sweet blessedness. The drummer we choose can make life worth living,So choose carefully to whom you will listen. There are songs of hell,death and loss, And those of victory,life and rest. These two drummers are nothing alike,One lives in darknes and the other in light. They will play for eternity but what will they sing,The song of triumph or one of deaths sting? Music can summon our deepest of emotions, So dont follow the drummer without listening closely. Dont be fooled by the sound of the beat, Nor be so quick to tap your feet. The sound that Satan drums out is an alluring one, But the beat God plays leads to His Son. Yes in this life we hear the beats from two drummers,But can only dance to one or the other.
