One Minute Message 10/4/13 Devotional Thought: Jesus prayed and thanked the Father for hiding spiritual realities from the self-righteous and revealing them to the humble. The Father still does this! People who would use truth to exalt themselves over others end up missing its power and effectiveness in their own lives while the humble are delighted by the simplicity and wonder of God’s grace revealed to them in Jesus Christ (Jn. 1:18). Devotional Text: Matthew 11:25-27 (NLT) 25 At that time Jesus prayed this prayer: “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. 26 Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way! 27 “My Father has entrusted everything to me.
