One PROUD mama here! The past 3 nights Miles has ridden his first real horse, something other than his Mustang (Mustang Sally) or his old trusty kids horse (Banjo) He has been riding one of Clays 4 year olds, a horse we call Black Ace and have consigned to a sale next week, we were going to let Miles ride him thru the sale ring if all went well. Anyway, the past 3 nights we have let Miles ride Black Ace around the barn and rope the dummy in the driveway off him. Today, Clay took Miles with him to move cattle and Miles rode Black Ace for the first time outside. Not only did he do AWESOME as they moved/checked cows BUT he heeled a real-live steer that needed doctored, caught him on the first shot, dallied up his rope and held him while Clay doctored the steer!!!! So proud of that little boy! Two years ago he had barely started riding and now look at him go!!!
