One again Korede failed to show us a single contradiction in the Quran, Rather he made a fool of himself for the third time!! This is what Korede posted and he even mentioned my name lol ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Quran 4:82 [THE LITMUS TEST] #3 Hello Brethren, how are you doing today, this series is getting more interesting and enlightening. You see, the challenge of Quran 4:82 is one challenge that exposes Islam, because, if JUST ONE, I mean, just one contradiction can be found in the Quran, then according to the Quran, it is no longer from Allah, and if the book is not from Allah, who author it then? Lord willing, before the end this year, I will put together a book on this series and this will be made available to our Muslim friends to read and ponder and decide for themselves if the Quran passes of failed this TEST. Today, we are looking at another SERIOUS CONTRADICTION in the Quran, you see, this kind of contradiction is what I called CAI, meaning CONTRADICTION AGAINST ITSELF. This are passages in the Quran that CONTRADICTS itself without the use of external verses to authenticate the contradictions, this will be detailed in the book, but we are going to look at just one of them today. We read from Quran 34:50: -------------------- Say: If (even) I go astray, I shall stray only to my OWN LOSS. But if I remain guided, it is because of the Inspiration of my Lord to me. Truly, He is AllHearer, Ever Near (to all things). [Quran 34:50] ------------------- The problem with this verse is that, if Muhammad on the judgement day discovered that he has been deceived and erred, is he the only person that will suffer the consequence as stated in the verse? So, if Muhammed have been deceived, is he the only one that will SUFFER THE LOSS, or will the Muslims who also believed on him suffer it as well? I am calling on the ARABIC EXPERT to come out and SOLVE this grave, serious and mind blowing contradiction of eternal consequence. To my friend Lyrical Mustafa you can put on your COPY AND PASTE methodology cap as well, it is allowed. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- As you can read from the above Korede claims he found a contradiction from one singe verse on its own?? Contraction from a verse without comparing it to another how absurd is that?? And whats worse he stated I copy and paste !!! Korede you telling me u dont copy and paste no?? This post you made is from scam shamouns anti muslim site.. Your not the first to come up with it... Anyway let me get COPY AND PASTE brothers who are more learned then me quoting renowned scholars, just to debunk your claims ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Say, “If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near..(34;50) First of all,the verse starts with ”IF’‘.So It is not a definite condition at all. Secondly if Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa aalihi wasallam would be wrong, then he could not have continued.. [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, We would have seized him by the right hand Then We would have cut from him the aorta And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him.(69;43-47) . But as my Holy Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w had continued to preach the revealtion of Allah,it means that infact,He was totally and absolutely right. He was guided by Allah’s revealation. The second condition mentioned in the verse was true for Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w. Another verse form Holy Quran, So rely upon Allah ; indeed, you are upon the clear truth..naml 79 Note that there is no IF or but in the verse mentioned above, but there is a wordINDEED so it is the true condition that Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.w. was on clear truth, guided by Allah’s revealation _______________________________ The verse is not saying that if Muhammad (peace be upon him) were to be led astray, then he would be the only one affected by his misguidance. The verse is saying that if Muhammad (peace be upon him) were to be led astray, IT WOULD BE BECAUSE OF HIMSELF. He would have erred due to his own loss in being able to follow the straight path. Imam Suyuti states... Say: If I go astray, from the truth, I will be going astray only to my own loss, that is to say, the sin of my going astray shall be held against me; and if I am rightly guided, it will have been by what my Lord reveals to me, of the Qurān and wisdom. Truly He is Hearer, of supplications, Nigh. (Jalal ud-Din Siyuti, Tafsir al-Jalalayn, Commentary on Surah 34:50, Source) Ibn Abbaas states... (Say) to them, O Muhammad: (If I err) from the Truth and guidance, (I err only to my own loss) he says: the punishment of that is against my soul, (and if I am rightly guided) to the Truth and guidance (it is because of that which my Lord hath revealed unto me) that I am guided. (Lo! He is Hearer) of he who calls Him, (Nigh) in responding to whoever calls Him. (Ibn Abbaas, Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn Abbâs, Commentary on Surah 34:50, Source) Also refer to the commentaries of Qurtubi, Baidawi and Zamakhshari, which essentially say the same thing. What the verse is saying is that if the Prophet (peace be upon him) were to become misguided and decided to not follow the straight path, this would end up harming himself. This is what the translators wanted to communicate. It doesnt mean that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the only one that would get affected by this whole process. It is only saying that his choosing the wrong path would only end up hurting himself. _________________________ Ibn kathir (Say: If (even) I go astray, I shall stray only to my own loss. But if I remain guided, it is because of the Revelation of my Lord to me...) means, all good comes from Allah, and in what Allah sends down of revelation and clear truth there is guidance and wisdom. So whoever goes astray, does so by himself, as `Abdullah bin Mas`ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said when he was asked about some issue. He said, I will say what I think, and if it is correct, then it is from Allah, and if it is wrong, then it is from me and from the Shaytan, and Allah and His Messenger have nothing to do with it. After this if Korede doesnt understand the verse then woe to him...
