One can never know the demons that torment another human being, so - TopicsExpress

One can never know the demons that torment another human being, so I am not judging Robin Williams or anyone else. However I do have something to say about the thought of killing oneself. Suicide leaves unbearable waves of pain that lasts generations. Family members of suicide victims are more likely to commit suicide. So before you do, if you want to, take the happy pills the doctor wants you to take. Yes, it will change who you are, that is the point. It will not be worse than what you want to do to yourself. Pills dont work? Consider giving the life you dont want to a cause greater than yourself. Work in a soup kitchen, go to an orphanage in some third world hellhole and make their lives better. You life will be awful because that is hard hard work, but your life is awful anyhow. Might as well be awful helping children. Become a crazy cat lady, or man. Help the animals that have no one. Take care of the powerless. Visit people in nursing homes who will not remember you were there the next day but will enjoy the attention while it lasts. What do you care? You dont believe you have any real friends anyway. Might as well. And along the way, you maybe, just maybe, having found a purpose and vision for yourself, find life worth living again. Its worth a try. You can always die tomorrow. Live today.
