One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own - TopicsExpress

One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. Looking this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. Exodus 2:11-12 sn: Moses was born to be an activist, but his passion caused him to murder an Egyptian, and suddenly Moses was a fugitive running into the desert. Yet God uses our failures in a magnificent way, for it would be forty years later when God spoke to Moses in the desert from a burning bush. By that time Moses had been humbled, and Moses did more in a short time under the hand of God than he ever could with his fleshly strength. God guided Moses to become the activist he was always meant to be. Case in point, even when people in the world may look at us as a fugitive running away from the world, God still has a plan for our lives, so in His time He humbles us and allows us to be the powerful people that he call us to be. However we have to learn to do things His way, and not our own way.
