One day humanity will pay for these crimes! There will be a Day of Reckoning, of this I am convinced!!!! In fact, I think its already upon us. The arrogance and total disregard we express towards other sentient beings exactly mirrors the attitudes we have toward the planet itself...attitudes that are creating environmental changes that are rapidly leading to a world that will be completely inhospitable to human life. And I believe we have already crossed the Rubicon insofar as being able to stop those changes. We have wrought our own demise. However, what I find to be the real tragedy is that this sad end will also be visited upon the innocents with whom we have so ungenerously shared this Earth. We deserve it, they dont.
