One dead, six injured in Uniosun auto crash Tragedy struck yesterday in Osun State when some students of the Osun State University (Uniosun) were involved in a ghastly auto crash killing one person while several others were seriously injured It was gathered that the students were on an excursion to Ayinkunugba waterfalls in Ifedayo Local Government Area when the accident occurred. It was gathered that the 18-seater bus, in which the students were traveling, had a burst tyre and the driver lost control. The driver of the bus was said to have lost his life on the spot, while several students were seriously injured. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for first aid treatment while some of the students who were in critical condition were taken to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, for further treatment. When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs. Folasade Odoro confirmed the accident.
