One great lesson about honor that I have learned is faithfulness. I learned what that meant watching Titanic. It was a lovely love story. Two people in love that were no socially, accepted by either side, yet found one another to be perfect for eachother. Its true opposites do attrack and is a small portion because Love knows no limits. Jack loved Rose not because she was rich, powerful, and well off....but because she was beautiful..and he stuck by her side all the way till death. He could have left her when there were turbulance both at sea and her jealous ex fiance. He ensured her survival. Rose loved him so much, she didnt care what others thought about the man she chose. She faught to free him even if that meant loosing her own life for his. It was something about that steerage Jack that caused her to rebel against what was expected of her..so she can finally be free from the opinion of people....free to love who made her happy. Another beautiful part to this story, the captain of the ship refused to abandon his ship. Its one thing to fall in love with the way the ship is built, run, and sail...but once youve driven it and found it to be a perfect match...you never give up on your ship even if you know its gonna sink. Men who abandon ships are held without honor. The man that dies with his ship is honored forever. When we find true love this is the mentality we must have for one another...because this is the recipe for smooth sailing inspite of storms that disrupts the sea....Youve been briefed for the afternoon.
