Hospital bosses say: Staff and patients told us that they do not like to see employees smoking outside our hospitals. But, pro-smoking campaigners say: ‘It is not the role of nurses to be role models, this creates a very bad precedent. What about those nurses who are overweight – could there be a time in the future when nurses who are overweight will be threatened with dismissal?’ Whos right? What do you think?
