One man,one dream, one Harley Davidson and … ÁFRICA …da essência de um sonho ,até ao momento da partida! Let the dream begin!! …por vezes dou por mim a comparar-me com o clima que se sente em Paris… tanto pode estar um sol radiante e magnífico,como,passado uns minutos, o céu se transforma, tornando- se triste,escuro e começa-se a sentir os primeiros de muitos pingos de água ... Tal como as alterações climáticas em Paris, assim sou eu ...vivo umas vezes calmo e radiante, em “paz”,na minha(nossa)pseudo-sensação de conforto,de que tanto gosto, como de repente sinto uma necessidade imensa de viajar, de descobrir o mundo ... de partir à aventura e descoberta de novas cores, cheiros, gente, comida, costumes, culturas,... O grande desejo do “conhecer” é a mola impulsionadora e encorajadora que me permite ir para além do sonho. África é mágica e desperta em mim sentimentos profundos ... e numa convencional noite de terça feira,surge DAKAR!... mas ... quero ir com uma companhia especial :THE BIKE!!! E nesse momento,olhando para ela,pergunto a mim mesmo: Prontos para irmos a Dakar? E eis que a resposta surge,dada de mim para mim: Nós vamos mesmo a Dakar!!!!!… You are a crazy guy!! ... we can do it!!!! E a confirmação estava dada!!O check-in emocional estava efectuado... Lisboa/Dakar ... eu a a minha Byke!!! O que para mim foram minutos, transformaram-se em horas infindáveis de pesquisa insaciável... my mind is already in Dakar ... Mas do que precisas tu para ir?... eu não preciso de nada nem ninguém,só preciso de saúde e ajuda de Deus ... Mas em conversa com um amigo surge a ideia de expor e dar a conhecer esta aventura que desejo vivenciar... partilhar o meu sonho, partilhar esta viagem tão especial para mim. Desta forma os primeiros contactos foram feitos ... e neste momento para mim a viagem já começou!!!! Tentei transmitir o objectivo e o espírito com que estou a vivenciar o planeamento desta viagem,que se prende com a realidade com que eu me identifico - FREE BIKER!!!! Let the dream begin! Sometimes I find myself comparing me with the weather in Paris it can either be a bright magnificent sunshine or some minutes later the sky changes becoming sad and dark. while the first drops of rain fall . . . Just like the weather changes in Paris so am I . . . I live sometimes calm and joyous, in peace with my fake sensation of comfort which I´m so found of, while suddenly, I feel an enourmous wish of travelling, of discovering the world. seeking adventure and finding out new colours, scents, people, manners, food, civilizations . . . The great wish of knowing is the pushing and encouraging spring which allows me to go beyond dreams... Africa is magic and awakes in me deep feelings, and in one normal tuesday night, DAKAR shows itself! But, I want to go with a special companion: my BYKE! And in that moment, I look at her and I ask to myself: ready to go to Dakar? And then the answer comes along, from me to me: we really go to Dakar! You´re such a crazy guy! We can do it! And the confirmation was given! The emotional check-in was done! Lisbon -Dakar . . .me and my byke!!! INSHALA! What for me were minutes became endless hours of insatiable research . . . my mind is already in Dakar . . . But what do you need in order to leave? I don´t need nothing and nobody I just need my health and the help of God . . . But while talking with a friend comes the idea of revealing this adventure I want to share, share this dream, share this journey so special to me... So the first contacts were made and now for me the journey has already begun! I tried to convey the goal and the spirit with which I´m enjoyng its whole planning which speaks about the reality with which I identify myself: FREE BIKER!
