One more piece ready for the show. Kiada Meets the Dragon. I am so happy with how this turned out, the base is just perfect and I would NOT have come up with it on my own, so grateful for Tims added artistic effort to this piece. Kiada (which means Dragon) is a young girl (about 13),coming of age in her tribe and on her vision quest. She has just emerged from a stream bed in the soft sand and is suddenly face to face with a demon, the fearsome Dragon. She has never met a dragon so does not know to be afraid. The Dragon, whos instinct is to breath fire and slay her, realizes she is not afraid and is taken aback by her naiveté. As he approaches her, he realizes she is his twin and they carry the same mark or tattoo, the symbol of God, which also resembles a character of a dragon. This is the moment of contemplation of each other, the moment of vulnerability for both of them.
