One of Leeways earliest shows @ The Allies Hotel with Mike Elrington.. 17/10/2009. My 2 sons were kids when we started jammin out hard rock.. I remember them saying to me, dad we know all the songs you know & more, come and play with us after months of this mantra i could see they had a lot to share with me and they were 100 percent serious at playing.. Man o man they surprised me at how good they had become while i was busy playing with other bands.. As a joke i said, maybe we can do the Van Halen thing but we could do it the Leeway.. soon enough i could see it was no joke, & Leeway has not stopped playing since.. There is an energy in this band that i have never encountered before in any other band, i do not know what it is or why but it is very powerful indeed.. Some say its a family thing, others say we glow while we play, or we have the young bros thing going on, haha, but what ever it is it is very special thang and i am a lucky fella to get this chance in my life to play in a band with my sons.. My Dad was very proud of his band before he left us & I am very proud of what the boys and myself have achieved together in Leeway over the years.. Thank You Jackson & Liam.. LEEWAY ROCK !!
