One of my absolute favorite Christmas songs is Ill Be Home For Christmas. It doesnt matter which artist sings it, though my favorite version is this one from Bing Crosby. For several years, I was away from home, and in most cases working the holidays so others could be with their families. It was my gift to them. My friends adopted me into their families along the way. They are part of my Christmas memories and I have adopted some of their traditions into my own. I was usually geographically too far away to go home for the holidays, so I am thankful for my adopted families. No matter where I was there was always Bing to keep me company. Merry Christmas!
