One of my best friends in the whole world may have to have the cat I gave him ten yrs ago put to sleep today. I was about to post how weird it is that the people that you are "there" for, quite often are not the ones that are "there" for you ... YET ... When you need someone, amazing people seem to appear. Maybe not the ones you expected ... But shoulders and wisdom nonetheless. As much as I hate the ties society has on us and how we live and deal ... This is always a bright shining light in my jadedness. A sort of "pay it forward" mentality that makes the rough times bittersweet. On that note ... As dire as later today may be .... I do hope that I can be there for my friend, whatever the outcome ... Because that means more than anything. Even a stupid birthday. Much love to all of you. And may we all have a shoulder in sad times. And thank you for the bday wishes.
