One of my best friends reminded me last night what the purpose of life is for us. We werent given life to acquire wealth, we werent given life to make millions of friends or supporters, we werent even given life for our own selfish agendas. We were given life to make another persons life worth living. And maybe that means less wealth, less friends, or fewer personal goals being met but at least we can sleep at night with a sense of pride, a sense of purpose, a sense of wellbeing. If you have the power and understanding to stand against injustices but fail to do so, then history will be written with you as a co-conspirator to the injustice. If you sit back and dont speak when wrongs are being done, if you dont get out and vote when election time comes, if you go along to get along just to have friends, you will be consider a co-conspirator to the injustices of today.
