One of my child hood heros! Take a listen to this! Skateboarding and Snowboarding is more than hood rat punks and weird misfits but a group of persistent and caring community though we got a bad reputation and got kicked out of lots of parking lot, stairwells, parking ramps, retaining walls, sketchy ramps, cops saying were disturbing the peace, boards getting takin away. And countless cuts and bruises, concussions, broken bones, road rash, credit cards, stitches. Looking back I am so thankful for the friends Ive made over the years and memories Ive had doing something that I love! Though I dont skate as often I encourage all my friends and younger generation to dont be afraid to fall dont a couple times here and there because when you land that Ollie over one deck or just learned healflip to backside lipslide. The journey where skateboarding and destroying your fear of failure will lead you to great places!... and lots of broken bones and throwing your board on the ground in fustration and getting beaten in a game of skate to a kid 10 years younger than you.
