One of my colleague wanted me to watch the last episode of Satyamev Jayate and said that it will change my support towards Kejriwal...I did watch and have become a better supporter for Modi....here are my reasons My reasons for supporting Modi......... 1. First and the foremost- Putting Gujarat on the world map- while we may argue that data has been fudged etc..but anybody who has visited Gujarat does not need figures to confirm this 2.Decisive and quick : His no nonsense approach in taking executive decisions and insuring their quick implementation forms the corners stone of his effective governance model. 3.Worked his way up: Its no secret that the son of a tea vendor has had a vision (CLARITY OF VISION) right from his early life and worked his way up to be at the place he has been chosen...not the Dynasty way. People harp about the clean image Kejriwal has...he has come up very recently after the lokpal drive..he had been in service for long before that..why did he not raise his voice against corruption, which has been rampant much before. 4.Strong Support within his party- During his elevation from Gujrat CM to NDA’s Prime Ministerial candidate there was ample evidence of Mr. Modi’s mass appeal within his own party, the BJP barring a few political heavy weights like Mr. Advani & Mrs. Sushma Swaraj whose won political aspirations were thwarted by the strong undercurrent of support within the party cadre.India as in emerging economy with aspiration of the youth riding on its shoulders needs a strong, vibrant leader who can effectively usher into the elite group of nations; this is where Mr. Narendra Modi fits the bill as a strong contender who can step into the leadership vacuum 5.CHARISMA: Narendra Modi posses a certain charisma which India definitely needs expecting a leader who has strong personality after being lead by mainly an almost an invisible Prime Minister for years with almost 65% of the electorate below the age of 35 years, the youth expect a strong leader behind. 6.World Bank:10 years back Gujarat had a huge loan of almost 50,000 crores on itself from the World Bank but now it has deposited 1 lakh crore in the World Bank which proves his credibility as a Chief Minister and how well he is leading the state towards success and overall development. 7.His Reign as Chief Minister:Gujarat has bagged the award of the 2nd best state in the world by UN in the year 2010. Another important and most relevant feature that Narendra Modi has been able to provide is the security of women in his state. When every state is fighting their own devils within the society Narendra Modi has gifted a safe land for the women in his state by providing strict law and order to safeguard the women making it the 2nd least crime against women among all other states. 8.Maintaining law and order India is facing the biggest challenge of curbing the CORRUPTION down. It is believed that Modi has been able to keep a clean image as far as the corruption is concerned and also he is considered to be strict when it comes to law and order. 9.Smart PR work:You can either love him or hate him but can’t ignore him. This is mainly because of his strong PR skills. He is in news and people are talking about him and his works always. Are these reasons not enough....we need to see the positive approach Modi has and his deftness...we need to see the Glass Half full or half empty...its our perspective. The corruption rot has spread deep in Indian society...Modi or Kejriwal alone cannot do it...we need Iron will of our leaders who can guide us..and Modi ji has all that and much more...he might have a lot of corrupt in BJPs den but this One Iron man can steer India Polity to the next level of a better tomorrow ...a better country we all have always aspired for...!!
