One of my dearest Facebook Friends has departed this world. According to a mutual friend, Lance Bertrand was found by the Tempe Arizona police, passed away on his couch. Friends became concerned when he could not be reached by phone nor answered his door. The cause and actual date of death has yet to be announced. and the circumstance of his final hours are unknown. I know he was in a lot of pain, but always presented a caring, supportive, and loving side to his Facebook Friends. I know he just received a power chair, which he had waited on a long time, but was unsure how to control it and needed help - help he was still waiting for. Lance fell through the cracks of society and an uncaring healthcare system that should have HELPED HIM. As of last Saturday, he is free of pain, free of chains, and no longer needs that damn chair to fly. Now, he can fly! You will be missed Lance, more than words can express
