One of my favorite appetizers is the Raspberry Habanero Goat Cheese Puffs. My Christmas in July special is 10% off the Food Chopper or the Easy Accent Decorator! Check it out in my website: pamperedchef.biz/kimheistand And here is the recipe – Very pretty with the Red Sauce! Raspberry Habanero Goat Cheese Puffs ½ pkg frozen puff pastry sheets (1 sheet) thawed 1 egg, lightly beaten ¼ cup sliced almonds, divided 1 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves 4 oz goat cheese 4 oz cream cheese, softened ¼ cup Raspberry Habanero Sauce, divided Preheat oven to 400 deg. Line Cookie Sheet with Parchment Paper. Lightly sprinkle Large Grooved Cutting Board with flour. Unfold pastry, roll into 10 ½ in square using Baker’s Roller. Prick pastry, Brush with egg and cut into circles with 2 inch diameter. Bake 12-14 minutes, cool completely. Gently press centers of puffs using fingertip to make wells. Place almonds in Small Micro-Cooker. Microwave on High 60-90 seconds stirring every 30 seconds until lightly toasted. Set aside 1 T of the almonds and finely chop remaining almonds using Food Chopper. Finely chop rosemary and combine almonds, rosemary, goat cheese and cream cheese and mix well. Using open star of easy Accent Decorator, fill it with cheese mixture. Reserve 1 T of the sauce; Spoon remaining sauce evenly into puffs; pipe filling over sauce and garnish with reserved sauce and almonds. 16 servings.
