One of my friends posted about tie fact that the pledge is changed now and in fact some schools dont even recite the newer pledge or any pledge. Not saying the proper pledge isnt as offensive as the fact that christmas is now called xmas and Christmas trees are now called holiday trees and now we must wish people happy holidays. The fact is christmas in america is not so much religious as it is an american tradition much like thanksgiving and fourth of july. In that respect if we are going to change the name of christmas due to political correctness then we must also change Hanukkah to happy dreidel day and Ramadan can be we we starve ourselves to death week and every other religious holiday name that is equally celebrated in this country. Im so tired of Catholics taking the brunt of what i call political correctness attacks. This country is about all being equal if one group is being forced to change then all must.
