One of my goals this year is to get out and play piano more often. Im constantly singing with the band, and very comfortable doing so. When it comes to playing however, Im extremely nervous. of course Ive been singing since I was a child and Ive only been playing piano for about a year... So Im making it a point to get out to open mics and play as often as I can this year in order to get more comfortable and enhance my skills as a player and a writer. This is an original song, entitled Cruel that I played last night at Bill McGarrys Open Mic in Glendale. Ive shared snippets before but this is the full song. Its not mistake-free but thats where Im at, and thats okay. The good news is that I made far fewer mistakes last night, and my hands didnt shake! Yay! I hope you like the song
