One of my previous teachers Rabbi Hans Plirt always would remind the class of his mothers unwillingness to allow them to watch the VCR until after high school. Only now am I beginning to realize the importance of regulating mass media devices at home. Private censorship in homes and throughout the family is important for maintaining a thoroughly focused environment. What happens in public is the governments responsibility and by voting we have rights which will be implemented by legislation, however, regardless of that, I believe parents must regulate the contents of the data being transmitted to their children.
