And thanks to my Friend Dr. Arif for the Post. May Allah Bless us all. With the Blessings & Mercy of Almighty Allah(SWT), Dutch Film maker Van Doorn embraced Islam. When he become Muslim he uttered from the core of his heart , My entire life before Islam is a complete emptiness and void. This is the realization of a person with the enormous Blessings of Allah. From this event I can recollect the incident of Second Caliph Hazret Umar Ibnul Khattab(r) become a Muslim only after he was deeply touched by the sound of the holy Quran. It so happened that one day he decided to put an end to the mission of the Prophet (s). So with an open sword he was rushing to where he could find the Prophet (s). His friend Nuaym, who was secretly a Muslim saw him on the way, and asked him where was he going with an open sword? When Umar told him of his intention, Nuaym advised him to take care of his own family first, for Umars sister Fatimah (r) and her husband Said ibn Zayd (r) had in the meantime become Muslims. Enraged, Umar headed for his sisters house. He heard the humming sound of the recitation of the Quran from outside, so he banged at the door furiously. Fatimah hid the scroll before opening the door, but Umar asked her what was it they were reading? After a few probing questions he started to hit both Fatimah and Said until blood appeared on their faces. At this Fatimah retorted back saying You cannot dissuade us from Islam even if you kill us. Seeing blood, Umar became a little embarrassed, and asked to hear what they were reading. Fatimah asked him to perform ablution. Then she recited beautifully the first seven verses of Sura Ta Ha. With the Blessings & Mercy of Allah(SWT) the effect of the incomparable sound of these verses washed away all the darkness in the heart of Umar. He felt the touch of heavenly light in every living cell of his person. Eventually he came back from his trance, and proclaimed : There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. He then presented himself in the assembly of the Prophet(s) and become a Muslim. Everything is possible with the Blessings of Allah(SWT). But I feel extremely grieved when I saw numbers of holy Quran was burning at the Baitul Mukarram on the middle of this year. I dont know who is responsible for this. This was the greatest insult against Quran in the history of the world. May Allah give all of them light of hedayet to follow the right path as mentioned in the Quran.
