One of our community members brought this to my attention and I checked the story out. Unfortunately, it is true and was reported in the Examiner. Its wrong on so many levels and if your heart leads you, please consider signing the petition. Mr. Daniel Herbert, an Animal Science teacher at Stephens County High School, castrated his personal cat where students were present as the cat was held down. The cat was neutered with no anesthetic. Herbert was suspended by the school and his resignation was accepted – but now he has rescinded the resignation and plans to return to his classroom. thepetitionsite/takeaction/984/261/288/
