One of our family Christmas traditions is similar to #5 in this article. Our tradition is based on the Bible verse Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart and we simply call it our Hearts Desire. Each family member writes down their specific hearts desires on a sheet of paper, puts each in a separate sealed envelope, and daddy locks it away to be opened and read at next Christmas Season. This helps us all really think about what is most important in life to each of us and as a family in whole.
