One of our residents, Eric Clausell, is performing locally as “Coalhouse”’ in Ragtime through Tacoma Musical Playhouse. Let’s all support his love for community theater and go see him perform! Ragtime is a beautiful story with a gloriously diverse score. It intertwines the lives of three distinct families of the early 20th Century and poignantly illustrates history’s timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair, and love and hate. As clearly indicated in the tally of TMP’s annual patron survey, Ragtime is surely an all-time community favorite and promises a production filled with beautiful music, top-notch acting and creative choreography. Ragtime, The Musical runs for only 16 performances from July 12-August 4, 2013. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are available through TMP only.
