One of our staff members was recently nominated for an ANCOR Direct Support Professional Recognition Award. The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) is a national, nonprofit trade association representing more than 800 private community providers of services to people with disabilities. Marcfirst is proud to recognize that one of our DSPs, AJ, was nominated for this award. The respect, knowledge and patience he exemplifies when supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is apparent to all of the team members at Marcfirst, but more importantly, it is noticed by the people he works so hard to coach. AJ actively goes out of his way to facilitate activities and build relationships so that supported individuals can accomplish their goals and desires. Thank you AJ for all of your hard work!
