One of our wonderful volunteers and sent us an email with these videos today, of their foster furbaby, Toby: This is Toby. Some people might recognize him. I adopted him about a month ago, and I wanted to share how he is doing. According to OSPCA facebook, he was abandoned twice by owners and then he was brought to the shelter. He was adopted a couple times, but returned. He is very energetic and super friendly, but he also has some issues. Below WAS his major issues. He WAS toy/rawhide aggressive. He growled and showed his teeth. He never wanted to give it up. However he does not show aggression anymore. OSPCA dog walkers and some people know that he WAS strong puller. But now he walks by my side most of the time although he still reacts to some dogs and people that I still need to work on with him. He hated to be cleaned his ears. He showed his teeth and growled. Even vet clinic staffs could not handle him and I was informed sedation is necessary for him next time when we visited them. But now he learned how to be patient. So I can clean his ears by myself without muzzle. Toby had more minor issues, too but hes been learning and he is doing great. Please do not give up on your dog, too.
