One of our younger travelers wrote a reflection for her school about her thoughts on the gbconnect trip to Tanzania. "As we left Tanzania and rolled steadily towards the airport, I looked once more to the Africa sky. I thought of how I would soon be looking up at that sky from my own little hometown and how, somewhere far away, my newfound friends would look up at it too. Our trip was so much like that endless sky, stretching over all boundaries, all assumptions and differences, to reach out and connect us all. I can always look up to that sky and remember that no matter how far away those amazing people seem, we will never lose that connection. And as long as we keep that connection, we won’t be far apart at all. "
