One of the best things about social media is having a birthday and a BUNCH of awesome FB friends. Thanks to ALL of you for your well wishes. I remember once being ten years old, sitting in my driveway on Stephen street, with the movie from the Airline Drive-in audible in the warm summer air. I remember doing the math in my head: it was 1974, and when I turned 50 it would be 2014. To a kid who read VOLUMES of science fiction, I pictured hovercraft, jet packs, rocket sleds, robot servants, and shiny bubble cities. Not quite how I imagined being 50 years old now, but 2014 is close enough to perfect for me. At least talking Apes arent ruling the Planet. Yet.
