One of the hardest things I believe we as humans have to face is our own imperfections. If you do not already know this, recently mine exploded and sent a whirlwind if chaos around not only myself but my family and close friends. For far to long I have been trying to mask my depression and deal with it on my own. I tried everything from self medication to denial in order to keep these demons at bay. I felt ashamed and embarrassed and so very much alone. It reached a point where I was a danger to myself when others stepped in. I realized that I had to get help. My husband Curt Boroff never stopped looking for a place to get me the help I so desperately needed. I had to be admitted to the Park view behavioral health center. They diagnosed me with bipolar 1 disorder with severe manic episodes and major depression disorder. While there, they found the right combo of medications and along with therapy I completed the program. Upon release I saught out, out patient therapy and can honestly say I feel like Im on the right path to a healthy happy life. Im not saying Im 100% fixed but I dont feel quite as broken. I want to thank Billie-Rae Garner, Sunshine Newsome, and Heather Anderson for keeping my spirits up while I was in there. Thank you Angel Lambert for calling curt everyday to check on me. Rhetta Lafountain and Shelah Cheek for all your help. Thanks Logan Boroff and Preston Boroff for always loving ur crazy step mom lol. Thank you to my new friend Cori Looney for keeping me sane in there lmao. But most of all thank you to the man that saved my life. The man who never quit, never gave up on me or his family. I love you Curtie thanks for being my rock.
