One of the hardest things for me, after I came into things of the Holy Spirit, was to reconcile my lack of feelings beyond the first couple weeks. I thought to myself that I was growing cold or losing some sort of spiritual tenacity. But the Lord had grace to remind me that we walk by faith, not by sight, and although I could not further explain the apparent disparity, I was content with continuing to move, even when I didnt “feel” it. Today, I heard probably the best explanation for why people often lose that intense physical feeling after being caught up in the awe of feeling the Holy Spirit move: “All that the feelings are were grace in your life to get you step into what youve never done.
