One of the highlights of Rebellion Punk Music Festival was sitting and listening to the great Jello Biafra talking about his musical influences and early musical likes. He certainly has a mesmeric and captivating style of presentation, and his choice of music was quite varied and bazaar to say the least. I expected The Stooges & MC5 but was surprised by Blue Oyster Cult and Hammersith Gorillas, However the early Sparks stuff he played certainly explained how he developed his vocal style and tone. Jello was most certain about his very favourite artist and that was Wesley Willis, so much so he released 2 Greatest Hits (pun) on his own Alternative Tentacles label.
